Join Our Club's Events Team

Do you want to become an Events Assistant? Our club is looking to put together a small support team to help the Event Coordinator plan and run major club events. Behind every successful event is a volunteer team working to ensure that everything runs smoothly. The Events Team plays a key role in creating engaging, inclusive experiences that support creativity, collaboration, and professional development. If you are creative and enjoy creating collaborative opportunities for students, this role might be for you!

What Does the Events Team Do?

The Events Team supports the planning, coordination, and execution of club events. Working closely with the Events Coordinator, Club Director, and Leadership Team, this team helps bring ideas to life! Events Team members assist by organizing logistics, supporting programming, and making sure each event aligns with the club’s goals and values.

Much of the team’s work happens behind the scenes. Common duties include preparing spaces and schedules or supporting presenters and welcoming attendees to individual events. Overall, our Events Assistants help create positive and memorable experiences for attendees.

Each year, the club hosts a major event and as a member of the Events Team, you’ll play a key role in helping plan and run it successfully. This year’s event is the Strike Out Hunger Bowling Tournament, taking place in Fall 2026, where we’ll be raising money for the student food kitchen. If you’re interested in helping bring this event to life, we’d love to have you join us.
