As a student, there are many resources available to you in the community that offer free streaming services. Some of these resources are free through your college or university, a library card, or just free in general (with ads). Here are a few of my favourites.

Gander is built in Canada by Canadians, and the platform is based on ethical media practices and emphasizes satisfying Canadian's unfulfilled desire for personal privacy. It is clear from their company mission that the creators of Gander value privacy and transparency, particularly related to how system data is managed and protected.

If you are like me and love shopping small and supporting local businesses, this is a spot you should put on your “to visit” list! They have over 150 participating vendors and work with local entrepreneurs and artisans to sell curated handmade goods. Beyond the shopping experience Markets Ontario provides, they also have a steady event schedule!
