About Guest Blogging

We’re inviting members of the Durham College Club Network to contribute guest blog posts to our website. This initiative offers a chance to showcase your club’s events, initiatives, and stories while connecting with a broader campus audience!

Guest blogging is a great way to build connections between student clubs. By sharing stories that highlight shared interests, joint initiatives, or collaborative projects, you can spark new partnerships and strengthen the campus community. 

As a guest blogger, your content should stay focused on topics relevant to your club. Approved post types include:
 

• Club Profiles: Introduce your club, its mission, and what makes it unique.

• Event Sneak Peeks: Preview upcoming events or initiatives your club is planning.

• Event Recaps: Share highlights, photos, and reflections from recent club activities.

• Relevant Topics: Write about subjects tied to your club’s theme—for example, book clubs can post book reviews or reading recommendations.

Showcase your club’s mission, highlight key events and achievements, and connect with a wider campus audience. Use your guest post to promote membership opportunities and give students a glimpse into your club’s activities and culture.

Not only will your stories appear on our blog, we will also cross-post your blog content on our club’s social media channels—giving your message even more reach and visibility. Together we can spotlight upcoming activities, events, or campaigns and boost attendance and engagement.

1. You’re welcome to write as much or as little as you’d like, and multiple contributors from your club can collaborate on our blog.

2. ​All guest bloggers must be willing to cross-post their content on their personal or club's social media accounts.

3. Participants are expected to follow both Durham College’s guidelines for being a responsible digital citizen and the Club Network’s standards for acceptable club activities.
