Do you want to help build a marketing strategy for the DC Blogging Club? Through campus initiatives, events, workshops, and online content, the Marketing Team works together to promote the club, foster creativity, highlight student achievements, and strengthen the club’s presence both on campus and online. Marketing Assistants gain practical experience in branding, communication, and content strategy while contributing to a growing student media platform.

What Does The Marketing Team Do?
The Marketing Team works closely with the Marketing Coordinator, Lead Content Editor, Art Coordinator, and Lead Graphic Designer to promote everything the DC Blogging Club does, from event launches to social media campaigns. Our goal is to create engaging, consistent messaging that reflects the club’s mission of empowering students through blogging, creativity, and digital literacy.
Behind the scenes, the team brainstorms ideas, plans campaigns, and creates content. Using metrics from our website and social media, they also review and analyze data to track engagement. Their goal is to ensure the club maintains a strong and recognizable presence across all platforms, including Instagram and Facebook.
The Marketing Team also works offline on campus through poster distribution, tabling events, and acting as representatives who help educate students about upcoming activities. While supporting behind-the-scenes operations is important, Marketing Assistants are not required to attend each event—though they are always welcome to collaborate with the Events Team.
