Trusting The Process

Lately, I’ve learned that the space between an idea and action is the most exciting yet stressful place to be. I have this dream that keeps me up at night and pops into my head every time I scroll through social media or walk past a café. It’s not a business yet, nor a full plan. It’s just a spark, one that glows brighter each time the wind tries to blow it away.
People usually talk about success stories once they’ve already made it, but no one really talks about this part. The waiting, the planning, the overthinking. The endless YouTube videos, the late night note taking, and the quiet “what if” that plays in your head whenever your energy shifts or doubt creeps in. It’s messy, uncertain, and sometimes feels like that idea just won’t leave you alone. The one you haven’t started yet but can’t stop thinking about. It’s like your mind is holding a tiny seed, waiting for the right moment to grow.

As I’m writing this, I realize that in order to grow a seed, you first have to plant it in soil and give it time. There are many stages from sprouting roots to blooming flowers and each one matters.
The beauty of it all lies in the waiting, in trusting that when the season is right, your idea will take off.
Some days I feel ready to dive right in. Other days, I convince myself to wait to save more, to research more, to feel more “prepared.” But maybe no one ever feels fully ready. Maybe it’s like being thrown into the ocean you swim because you have to, and somehow you just know how. That strength comes from within.
So here I am, still dreaming, but this time letting myself believe that it counts as progress. Because before every big “I did it,” there’s always a quiet “I think I can.”

If you’re a student like me, with a dream that feels too big or too far away, I’d say start small. Write your ideas down. Learn a little every day, even if it’s just one YouTube video or one page of research. Don’t wait until you feel “ready” because progress happens in the tiny steps no one sees. The late nights, the brainstorming, and even the doubt all count as part of your journey. You don’t have to have it all figured out. Just start nurturing your seed and eventually it will have enough nourishment to sprout and bloom when it’s meant to.

This is so beautiful and so true. You’ve articulated the entrepreneurial beginning so well. Bravo!
